The writing techniques for writing official script 1. Point method The dots in official script have different shapes depending on their positions in the characters. There are oblique points, flat points, horizontal points, or points replaced by short horizontal and short vertical points, etc. Except for the last two, which are the same as the short horizontal and short vertical writing methods, the rest of the dotting methods are similar.
2. Horizontal method There are two types of horizontal painting: flat painting and wave painting. The writing method of flat painting is: start the stroke to the left against the front, and pass the stroke to the right with the sharp edge. There is a lifting or smooth stroke in the passing stroke to make it change in thickness and avoid being slippery.
The pen is drawn back quickly and suddenly, and the end is naturally square or round, bald or pointed. When connecting strokes in a flat painting, the strokes should be penetrating deep into the interior of the connecting strokes without leaving any traces.
3. Some people say that the writing method of vertical painting is the same as that of horizontal painting, and some say that it is similar to horizontal painting. That is, the horizontal painting is turned into a vertical painting.
It is inappropriate to say that they are similar, and it is wrong to say that they are the same. The flat paintings and wave paintings in official script are both horizontal paintings. If you try to put both horizontal paintings upright and compare them with the vertical paintings, it will be self-evident.
4. The writing method often extends left and right relative to the painting on the right, forming the unique style of official script.
This is the most difficult part of learning official script. There are also long and short slanting strokes, but the writing method is basically the same.
