Guoqing Zen Temple
Guoqing Zen Temple is located in Banpu Middle School. According to "Jiaqing Haizhou Chronicles", Guoqing Zen Temple, commonly known as the "Big Temple", was first built in the Song Dynasty by Emperor Shenzong of the Song Dynasty. In the seventh year of Yuanfeng (1084), it was built by Falang, the founder of the mountain. It was later destroyed by the war (xiǎn). It was rebuilt by Monk Guosheng in the ninth year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (1376). In the twenty-fourth year of Hongwu (1391), it was merged into Haizhou Dabei Temple (also known as Dabei Temple). In the third year of Song Jiaqun (1058) It was first built in 1392 by Monk Chuanshan), rebuilt on the original site in 1392, and rebuilt in 1695, the 34th year of Kangxi reign in the Qing Dynasty. In the summer of 2003, in order to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Banpu Senior High School, Banpu Middle School started the renovation project of the Guoqing Zen Temple at the original school site and built stele corridors on the east and west sides of the school.
Li Ruzhen Memorial Hall
Li Ruzhen Memorial Hall is located on East Street, Banpu Town, Haizhou District, Lianyungang City. It was built in 1992 and covers an area of ??1,500 square meters. Hanging on the lintel of the memorial hall is a huge golden plaque with "Li Ruzhen Memorial Hall", which was handwritten by Wei Tianchi, a famous calligrapher in Jiangsu Province and chairman of the Provincial Calligraphy Association. In the middle of the main exhibition hall stands a bust statue of Li Ruzhen. The display cabinet in the hall displays versions of "Flowers in the Mirror" and many related materials in multiple Chinese and foreign languages, from which people can gain a concrete understanding of the general situation of various parties' research on Li Ruzhen and "Flowers in the Mirror". The walls of the hall are covered with masterpieces by celebrities of the time, and the calligraphy paintings are full of brilliance. In the backyard, there is a large saponaria tree planted in the Qing Dynasty. It has seen the vicissitudes of life and stands proud in the sky. The four characters "Flowers in the Mirror and Moon in the Water" on the wall of the north courtyard clearly show the profound theme of the novel "Flowers in the Mirror".
Chengnan Qiuyuan
Qiuyuan was built by Miao Qiujie, director of the Lianghuai Salt Administration Bureau of the Kuomintang. Construction started in 1927 and did not begin to take shape until 1937. It took 10 years. It can be seen that The project is huge. Qiuyuan covers an area of ??more than 100 acres. It not only absorbs the architectural art of Jiangnan gardens, but also has unique characteristics. The garden has interdependent mountains and rivers, sparse flowers and trees, artificial nature and unique originality. It can be called the "final work" of the "salt merchant" garden, and was once known as "the first garden in Huaibei". Unfortunately, it was later destroyed by the war.
Seongnan Bunker
Seongnam Bunker was a fortification built after the Japanese occupied Banpo. It was located next to a stone bridge on the moat in the north of the Autumn Garden. It is now located at the three-way intersection where the city turns to the south of the orchard. The bunker is square in shape, with a main body of brick and stone structure, about two stories high.
