What does Pengtu mean?

Pengtu is a traditional symbolic pattern and one of the important elements of ancient culture and art in China. It is usually used to describe transcending nature and the real world and representing supreme power and strength. Pengtu's special bird composition and circular geometric structure can show the uniqueness and spiritual connotation of China traditional culture and make it widely used in different fields, such as architecture, jewelry, painting, tattoos and so on.

Pengtu is also widely used in calligraphy and seal. In calligraphy, the word Peng is usually described as a big bird 30 feet high, soaring in the sky. Pengtu in the seal is often used as a decorative pattern embedded in gems to show the dignity and loftiness of the Forbidden City and the royal family. In the commercial field, some enterprises will also use Pengtu on the company logo to show their dignity and leadership.

In China's philosophy, Pengtu is also a concrete symbol, which is adopted by Taoism. In Zhuangzi, Peng Tu is used as a metaphor for the highest expression of strength and wisdom. Pengtu represents the essence of Taoism, which means to surpass the wisdom and omnipotent power of mortals. Pengtu should also be understood as a kind of motivation and inspiration to pursue wisdom and moral behavior, so that people know how to keep a balance between self-development and social roles.
