Who brought the moon to the calligrapher?
Dai Yue, national first-class artist, member of China Book Association, director of Shandong Book Association, vice chairman of Jinan Book Association and president of Jiaxuan Poetry and Calligraphy Research Institute. In his early years, he inherited his family studies, was enlightened by the famous calligrapher and seal engraver Mr. Xu Henian, admired Yan Liu, and later claimed to be the "two kings" and devoted himself to studying Weibei. For many years, his running script calligraphy was taught by Professor Wu Zhongqi, and his bronze inscription calligraphy was taught by Jiang Weisong himself. His calligraphy art has increasingly formed a bold and unrestrained, hearty, vigorous, natural, elegant and meaningful style, with a strong bookish atmosphere between the lines. He has held many book fairs and won many awards for his works. He has been selected into various books and collected by the National People's Congress, Confucius Institute and other units, and has become a well-known and highly regarded scholar calligrapher in contemporary times.
