The school teacher showed us around. Go to the door of the former residence, I saw a few big characters engraved on the door plaque-"Deng Enming's former residence".
When I walked in, I saw his picture. The photo hangs in the middle of the wall. He stared straight ahead, his eyes full of hatred, as if he were dissatisfied with today's dark society. As soon as I entered the yard, I saw all kinds of calligraphy, painting and paper-cutting works on display. People came to watch in an endless stream, people came and went, but it was not crowded.
Everyone is savoring every work carefully, and after reading it, they are full of praise for these works and can't help but give a thumbs up. There are many ornamental types of calligraphy works, such as regular script, official script, running script, cursive script, bronze inscription and Oracle Bone Inscriptions. Every author brings every word to life, which fully shows the beauty of calligraphy. It looks so comfortable and makes people feel the profoundness of calligraphy. I also realized their love for China traditional culture from every word and sentence of each author!
There are also many types of paintings, such as ink painting, sketch, oil painting, pastel painting, crayon drawing and so on. Every author puts his energy into painting, painting every scene and every character vividly, giving people a wonderful feeling and immersing people in another world.
There are three types of paper-cut works: landscapes, animals and people. Paper-cutting needs exquisite craftsmanship, care and enough patience. If you are not careful, you will have to start over. Every paper-cut is so complicated, but it becomes extremely easy and simple in the hands of these authors. These paper-cuts are lively and can be called masterpieces!
After reading these exquisite works, we can see that our traditional culture has a long history and cannot be destroyed by our generation. We should carry forward our traditional culture in China and pass it on to the next generation!
