Why do many Koreans dislike park chung-hee?

20 13 On February 25th, Cheongwadae, the official residence of the South Korean President, welcomed its new owner, park geun-hye. Park geun-hye is no stranger to Cheongwadae. At the age of 9, she first walked into this elegant building and spent 18 years as a teenager.

At the same time, she lost her parents. 1979165438+1October 2 1, 27-year-old park geun-hye moved out of Cheongwadae with a gloomy mood. About a month ago, her father, park chung-hee, who served as five consecutive presidents, was assassinated in the dining room on the second floor of the Central Intelligence Department of the DPRK in Gongjingdong. Her mother, Lu Yingxiu, died in another assassination earlier.

In South Korea, park chung-hee is a controversial former president. Born in the military, he stepped onto the political stage by launching a military coup and ruled Korea continuously for 18 years. During the reign of park chung-hee 18, South Korea was famous for its "rapid economic growth", and he created the "miracle of Hanjiang River" for economic growth.

196 1 when park chung-hee launched a military coup in, the per capita GNP of South Korea was only 100 US dollars; By the time he was assassinated in 1979, the figure had been refreshed to 1745 dollars. In June 2004, South Korea's Gallup Company conducted a survey called "Koreans' favorite president", and park chung-hee ranked first with 48% support rate.

Park chung-hee's Central Intelligence Minister Jin Zaigui was assassinated.

The assassination of park chung-hee was none other than Jin Zaigui, who followed him for many years. Why did Jin Zaigui kill park chung-hee? What the hell happened between them? What happened in Korean society at that time? How was the presidential road forged in park chung-hee 18?

The Last Supper

1979 10 10 at 5: 00 pm on October 26th, Jin Zaigui, Minister of Central Intelligence of South Korea, glanced at the clock on the wall, slightly tidied up piles of data and was about to leave work. For him, this is an ordinary day, and he is also spending it in an ordinary way. Suddenly, the secretary came in to inform him that he had just received a phone call and President park chung-hee was coming to have dinner with him.

Jin Zaigui eyebrows a wrinkly slightly, let the secretary arranged a room on the second floor of the restaurant. At this point, he knew that this ordinary day might change.

At 6: 05, park chung-hee's car drove to the central intelligence department. Jin Zaigui has been waiting there. But Jin Zaigui greeted not only the President, but also a man he hated deeply-Che Zhiche, the captain of the Presidential Guard.

The photos provided by the New National Party of Korea to Reuters, and the photos taken by park geun-hye and park chung-hee with unknown years.

The contradiction between Jin Zaigui and Che Zhiche has a long history.

At that time, park chung-hee was surrounded by four cronies, namely, Zheng Shenghe, Chief of Staff of the Army, Jin Zaigui, Minister of the Central Intelligence Department, Jin Guiyuan, Secretary General of the Presidential Secretarial Office, and Che Zhiche, Chief Guard of the Central Guard Room. The four departments controlled by these four cronies have their own functions, and * * * supports park chung-hee's rule.

But recently, Che Zhiche has sprung up, and his position in front of park chung-hee is rising, leaving the other three people far behind. Originally, Che Zhiche was only the captain in charge of the president's security work, but under the favor of park chung-hee, he set foot in more and more fields, so that sometimes Jin Zaigui wanted to see park chung-hee, but he was not allowed because of Che Zhiche's obstruction. What's more, Che Zhiche often speaks ill of Jin Zaigui in front of park chung-hee. While Jin Zaigui hated Che Zhiche, he also felt a sense of crisis about his ministerial position, so he also complained to park chung-hee that he was partial to Che Zhiche.

Park chung-hee has long heard about the bad feelings between Kim and Che, and has been looking for opportunities to help them untie this knot. This dinner is a good opportunity. But unexpectedly, no one expected the situation to develop in another direction.

In the evening, Jin Guiyuan, the secretary-general of the president, was present. Like Jin Zaigui, he is dissatisfied with the car. However, unlike Jin Zaigui, he was summoned but not sent.

At first, everyone pushed a cup for a change, and the atmosphere was still harmonious, but soon, the arrogant car drove the topic to the workers' parade that was breaking out.

Due to the skyrocketing international oil prices, domestic prices in South Korea have soared and inflation is serious. The consequence of economic deterioration is that a large number of enterprises close down and workers are seriously unemployed. 10 days ago, a large-scale demonstration took place in Busan, and a similar incident occurred in Mashan soon after. Park chung-hee sent Jin Zaigui to suppress it, but Jin Zaigui didn't seem enthusiastic about it. He is a "moderate" in the government, hoping to give priority to persuasion, and he is quite critical of the suppression advocated by the "hardliner" Che Zhiche. Therefore, the demonstrations have not been curbed, but have intensified.

Che Zhiche's words touched a sore spot in Jin Zaigui and triggered park chung-hee's dissatisfaction with Jin Zaigui. Soon, booze became an important meeting in Jin Zaigui. Look at the car car adamant4 face and park chung-hee a full face of unhappiness, Jin Zaigui anger rise, but there is no attack.

At about 7 o'clock, Jin Zaigui went to the office on the second floor on the pretext of having a meeting, and took out a pistol made in West Germany from the drawer, which could fire seven bullets in succession. He weighed the pistol and put it in his trouser pocket. Before returning to the banquet, he said to his cronies outside the door, "After a while, there will be a gunshot in the house. You have to kill all the presidential guards outside."

Back to the banquet, Jin Zaigui continued to eat and drink like a carefree person, and the unhappiness just now seemed to be swept away. But just when everyone was drunk, he suddenly pulled out his gun and aimed it at Chezhi. At the same time, he said to park chung-hee, "Sir, can you do a good job in politics by wasting like this?"

The words sound just fell and gunshots rang out. Due to the dodge of Che Zhiche, the bullet missed his key, but it pierced his wrist. He hurried out to escape. Park chung-hee was about to attack when Jin Zaigui turned the gun and hit him in the chest. Park chung-hee didn't dodge and fell to the ground.

At this time, all the presidential guards outside the door were killed.

From 65438 to 0966, South Korean President park chung-hee visited Taiwan Province Province, and Chiang Kai-shek personally met him at the airport, which was the peak of the relationship between Seoul and Taipei during the Cold War.

Jin Zaigui caught up with the runaway car again and shot him twice in the chest. This time, Cheche failed to escape and fell in a pool of blood. After driving Che Zhiche away, Jin Zaigui returned to the restaurant and saw that park chung-hee was not dead. As a lamb, he shot park chung-hee in the head again.

The whole process, just a few minutes. Jin Guiyuan, the Secretary-General of the President present, was obviously not the target of Jin Zaigui's shooting, so he was able to escape safely.

Jin Zaigui was subsequently arrested.

An unsolved mystery

In the early morning of the second day after park chung-hee's assassination, the South Korean government immediately announced that martial law was imposed all over the country except Jeju Island, a tourist resort. Martial law commander is one of park chung-hee's cronies, the army chief of staff Zheng Shenghe. After controlling the situation, the martial law command immediately set up an "investigation headquarters" to investigate the assassination of park chung-hee. However, this department did not investigate the final truth of the incident. Only after three inconsistent reports were published, the investigation came to an abrupt end and there was no news from then on.

These three reports found three different "truths" for the assassination. But it is not certain which is the real "truth", or the truth is not in these three reports.

The first report said that park chung-hee was killed by mistake. Jin Zaigui shot because he had an unexpected quarrel with Cheche. In desperation, he pulled out his gun and shot, killing Che Zhiche and killing park chung-hee by mistake.

The second report shows that Jin Zaigui has been planning for a long time. He felt that he was no longer trusted by park chung-hee, and the position of intelligence minister was in jeopardy, so he killed him.

The third report changed the wording: Jin Zaigui killed park chung-hee and attempted to launch a coup to overthrow the park chung-hee regime.

These three reports, each with its own version, have nothing in common except that the murderer is Jin Zaigui.

There is a saying that Jin Zaigui is desperate because park chung-hee intends to remove the director of the Central Intelligence Agency in Jin Zaigui. It is said that before Jin Zaigui got a tape, it was a conversation between park chung-hee and Che Zhiche in the car. The recording shows that Che Zhiche reported to park chung-hee that Jin Zaigui had secretly installed an eavesdropping device in Cheongwadae, the presidential residence. Hearing this, park chung-hee flew into a rage and claimed to recall Jin Zaigui.

This statement seems to coincide with the content of the second report.

There is also a saying that Americans support Jin Zaigui's actions. Because the American government at that time was very dissatisfied with park chung-hee's dictatorship and hoped that he would change his ruling style, park chung-hee stuck to his guns and would never change course. Just a few days before Jin Zaigui assassinated park chung-hee, the director of the North Korea Branch of the US Central Intelligence Agency happened to have a meeting with him. This coincidence gives people a broad space for speculation. Jin Zaigui also claimed during the trial that "the United States supports me". But all this is just speculation, and there is no direct evidence that Americans participated in the assassination.

Aside from all these speculations, the only certainty is that park chung-hee's rule did encounter a crisis at that time. As mentioned earlier, the economic depression and park chung-hee's high-handed ruling style have aroused people's dissatisfaction, and demonstrations by students and workers broke out in Busan and other places. The opposition party also took the opportunity to rise rapidly and became a powerful force against park chung-hee together with the demonstrators.

Faced with enormous external pressure, the inner circle of park chung-hee has also split. Among them, Zheng Shenghe, Chief of Staff of the Army, Jin Zaigui, Minister of the Central Intelligence Department, and Jin Guiyuan, Secretary General of the Presidential Secretarial Office, all advocated a moderate attitude towards the opposition. Only Che Zhiche, the captain of the Presidential Guard in the Central Guard Room, firmly supported park chung-hee and advocated tough repression. This differentiation can also be regarded as a secret footnote of park chung-hee's assassination.

The Sri Lankan is dead, and the truth is hard to find. Intriguingly, just over two months before the assassination, park chung-hee wrote a China calligraphy in Cheongwadae's office as a gift for his daughter park geun-hye.

This calligraphy is written: the body is worthy of the name, and the river flows forever.

Two other assassinations.

In fact, park chung-hee was assassinated twice before his death. Strangely, however, these two assassinations from outside forces did not hurt park chung-hee's hair. On the contrary, they were his cronies, Jin Zaigui, who gave him a fatal blow. This is embarrassing.

Park chung-hee was assassinated for the first time in 1968 65438+ 10/2/0/.

At that time, the situation in North Korea and South Korea was tense, and both sides launched crazy espionage and assassination. In order to assassinate park chung-hee, the North Korean government secretly trained an elite secret service unit at the sixth base of the124th Army, with only 3 1 person. In order to achieve the effect of actual combat training, the North Koreans also copied a building exactly like Cheongwadae, the official residence of the South Korean President, in Yuanshan Port, where 3 1 agents repeatedly simulated assassinations.

1968 65438+1October 2 1 Late at night, 3 1 agents secretly passed through the heavily guarded demilitarized zone, and after trekking in the mountains for 5 days, they came to Beiyue Mountain Road in Seoul (now Seoul), which is only a few hundred meters away from Cheongwadae.

But at this time, North Korean agents dressed in North Korean military uniforms and disguised as South Korean soldiers showed their clues. What exposed them was the black rubber shoes they wore on their feet. Because this kind of rubber shoes is not the equipment of Korean soldiers, but the standard of Korean soldiers. After discovering this secret, the patrol police in South Korea immediately went forward for questioning. After the North Korean agent felt exposed, he immediately picked up a submachine gun and fired. Just as a bus passed by, North Korean agents threw grenades into the car, causing many deaths and injuries, and the scene quickly became chaotic.

Soon, the South Korean military and police reserve brigade arrived and there was a fierce gun battle between the two sides. In the end, 28 people were killed, 1 person was captured alive, and the other two managed to escape. One of the two people who escaped was shot in the abdomen, but he stuffed the intestines flowing out of his body back into his body with his hand and then covered the wound with his hand. He even escaped the heavy round-up of tens of thousands of North Korean troops and successfully fled back to North Korea. This person is Park Zai Chun, the current vice minister of the Korean People's Armed Forces.

Park chung-hee's second assassination took place on1August 5, 974. It was in this assassination that Lu Yingxiu, park chung-hee's wife and park geun-hye's mother, was shot dead.

On this day, it is Korea's Guangfu Festival. The Guangfu Festival is the national day of South Korea to commemorate 1945' s independence from Japanese colonial rule. At that time, park chung-hee was giving a speech at the celebration meeting held at Seoul National Theatre. Suddenly, Korean people living in Japan stood up from the crowd, ran quickly along the passage to the rostrum, pulled out their guns and shot at park chung-hee. But the bullet missed, and park chung-hee, unscathed, quickly hid behind the podium. Wen Shiguang kept shooting. This time, the bullet hit Lu Yingxiu, the wife of the President on the rostrum. The President's entourage immediately lifted Lu Yingxiu and took her to the hospital. Unfortunately, after nearly six hours of rescue, Lu Yingxiu died.
