The Academy of Fine Arts of Guangxi Normal University is located atNo. 1 Zhong Yan Road, Yanshan Town, Yanshan District, Guilin City. Its predecessor was the Department of Art Education of Guangxi Normal University, which was founded in 1988. The first dean was Professor Wu Chundao, a model worker and famous calligrapher in the national education system.
