I have heard of Deng Youpu for a long time, and I have also heard of wheat straw painting, but I have never connected Deng Youpu with wheat straw painting. This time I was lucky enough to go to Sanfutan, visit Deng Youpu's home, and see and appreciate his wheat straw paintings. Only then did I connect Deng Youpu and wheat straw paintings. It turns out that Deng Youpu is a very famous figure in Xiantao. He is famous because of his wheat straw paintings.
In Deng Youpu’s studio, there are wheat straw paintings hanging on the wall, wheat straw paintings being processed on the workbench, and wheat straw paintings and wheat straw paintings piled on the table and beside the wall. 2. Taste Lilinzui New Village and Farm Food
Lilinzui Village is adjacent to Hanshui River in the north and Paihu Lake in the south. It is 128 kilometers away from Wuhan City in the east and 233 kilometers away from Yichang City in the west. . The Hurong Expressway (called "Yihuang" in Hubei) and National Highway 318, which run through Hubei from east to west, pass through 4.5 kilometers and 5 kilometers north of the village respectively. The area under its jurisdiction is low-lying and flat, with deep soil and dense water networks. It is a typical plain lake area.
Lilinzui Village has 12 villager groups, 793 farmers, and a population of 3,254. The total land area is 10,500 acres, including: 4,463 acres of cultivated land (3,934 acres of paddy fields and 529 acres of dry land), 1,406 acres of ponds and breeding water surfaces, and 521 acres of green woodland.
But when the car drove from Sanfutan Town to Lilinzui Village, the town guide introduced to us: Lilinzui Village is a longevity village, with 16 people out of a population of more than 3,000 in the village who are 100 years old. There are more than 100 elderly people over 80 and 90 years old, making it a veritable longevity village. Why do people here live longer? Because this land is rich in trace elements - selenium, the plants and animals growing there also contain this rich trace element. Selenium is one of the essential trace elements for the human body and has necessary functions such as anti-cancer and protecting myocardium. If you eat rice, vegetables and chicken, duck, goose, fish, pig and other animal meat containing selenium for a long time, it will be of great benefit to the growth of the human body.
After hearing this, we were all very excited and asked the guide this and that, wanting to know more about the secrets of longevity.
Soon the bus arrived at Lilinzui Village. When we got off the bus, we saw the houses arranged neatly. The front yards were all cement pavement. They were spacious, flat and clean. There was a river in front of the door, with trees on both sides of the river. There are many villagers on both sides of the river sitting quietly in the shade of the trees by the river, fishing!
When we were looking at it with interest, the guide said that Lilinzui Village is very hospitable, and the village invites everyone to taste the farm flavor of Lilinzui Village today. We also wanted to taste the vegetable rice here which is rich in trace elements - selenium, so we followed the guide and walked into a farmer's house. The village chief said modestly that the dishes here are all our farm dishes, which are not as good as the vegetables and rice in the city. After we sat down, the host brought bowls of dishes to the table. They were all farm dishes. There were small crucian carp gourds just caught from the river, some sweet potato vine tips, leek and egg rake, and some fresh. There are lotus root strips, loach and braised lettuce, steamed meat, simmered dried radish slices, etc... My dear, there are more than ten bowls of dishes at one end, just like a farmer's house having a good meal, the dishes are so rich. How fresh, hygienic and delicious! Especially the rice containing selenium, it feels very sweet and fragrant when you eat it. We ate heartily and cleaned the table cleanly in no time. After the meal, we still lingered over the sweet and delicious farm-style flavor from time to time.
Lilinzui Village is a magical place and a place that people yearn for. According to local farmers, Lilinzui Village used to be on the edge of Paihu Lake and was very close to Paihu Lake. It is said that in the early Ming Dynasty, a dense chestnut forest grew at the mouth of the lake on the north side of Paihu Lake. It produced delicious chestnuts and became famous in the surrounding area. Over time, people called this area Lilinzui. . Paihu has developed greatly in recent years, and in a few years we will be able to integrate with Paihu. At present, Paihu has built beautiful resorts, first-class golf courses, and an international bicycle track on the way from Sanfutan Town to Lilinzui. These will be integrated with Paihu Lake and gradually become a high-end entertainment place for leisure, recuperation, entertainment and play.
3. Watch and visit Xia Shi Park
Xia Shi has always been a small market town. It used to be called Xiajia Butou, but later it was called Xia Shi for some reason. When the collective was established, this place used to be the seat of the People's Commune. After the People's Commune was abolished, Xia Shi has been the seat of a management area, management film and other secondary institutions under the district, township and town. In recent years, Xia Shi's economy has developed rapidly and people's living standards have continued to improve. In order to meet the growing spiritual needs of the people in Xia Shi, the town government decided to build parks on the streets of Xia Shi. Xia Shi Park is located at the east entrance of Sanfutan Town - the intersection of Development Avenue and the eastern section of National Highway 318, covering an area of ??120 acres. It is based on Xiongjiatan, built along the lake, and landscaped according to the situation, to create an open comprehensive park integrating leisure, entertainment, and appreciation, making it the main landscape at the entrance and exit of Sanfutan. According to reports: Xia Shi Park has now completed the connection of the "three lakes", shoreline improvement, accumulation of islands in the center of the lake, southern entrance and partial greening construction. The gatehouse, scenic windows, greening and beautification will continue to be constructed in accordance with the classical garden style, with scientific layout and elegant atmosphere. A high-rise garden-style residential area will be constructed on the east side.
As soon as I walked into Xia Shi Park, I was a little surprised. A small market town also built a park? As far as I know, this is probably the first city to build a park in a small market town! I watched this small and beautiful park with curiosity.
As soon as I got off the car, I saw an archway with the four characters "Xia Shi Park" written in the center of the archway. Walking in from the archway, there is a winding cement road built along the lake. The cement road goes around the lake, and you can take a walk. , while admiring the surrounding scenery. There is a green belt on the slope side of the concrete road. Walking on the concrete road is like walking through the woods or swimming by the river. Along the way, you can hear the chirping of birds and watch the fish swimming in the river.
Going further inside, there is an island in the middle of the lake with a pavilion where you can rest and enjoy the surrounding scenery. There is a cement bridge connecting the island to the cement road. The cement bridge is very high and can be used by boats and pedestrians. It is also a very beautiful scenery.
This will be a good place for Xia Shi people to relax, entertain and have fun after work. It is also a good place for outsiders to enjoy and sightsee.
