Its contents are more primitive and quaint than Huangdi Neijing, Shennong Herbal Classic and other ancient books, and it is the earliest medical literature discovered in China. Their excavation not only fills the gap in the history of Chinese medicine, but also has great value in studying the development of medicine before the Western Han Dynasty.
