1949 painting talent was discovered by Li Ziqing, and he followed Li Ziqing's enlightenment to learn calligraphy and Chinese painting.

Since then, he lived in seclusion in Shan Ye, remained indifferent, integrated into natural life, traveled mountains and rivers, and engaged in landscape painting and artistic creation.
1987, at the invitation of Shaanxi Provincial Bureau of Culture and relevant departments, he founded the Academy of Fine Arts of Shaanxi Normal University, and later declined to be the dean of the Academy and lived in seclusion in Qinling Mountains.
