Why don't western countries incorporate calligraphy into art?

This is because of the limitations of western writing. Calligraphy is closely combined with Chinese characters. Without the origin of Chinese characters, it is difficult to talk about calligraphy. Western languages are mostly composed of letters. Unlike Chinese characters, the diversity and sense of form of letters are far less abundant than those of Chinese characters. Therefore, calligraphy is listed as an art in China, but it is not listed as an art category in western countries.
