Spring outing to Qingliang Mountain

I have long heard that there is a park in Chang'an. I went there twice in a row. My thoughts after the trip were:

? Lush trees and green lawns.

? Although the mountain is not high, it is prosperous if there is a Buddha.

? The water is not wide, just clear.

? The air is fresh and the mood is pleasant.

? Free and open to benefit the people.

On the 13th and 16th of the second lunar month, I went alone twice. The weather was very warm for the first time. Yesterday the cool breeze blew and the temperature dropped a lot.

Old poems say that "the willow wind does not blow on the face," and "the spring breeze in February is like scissors." It’s the early spring weather that turns from warm to cold.

The first time I went there was around 9 a.m. and I walked into the gate at the northwest corner of Qingliang Mountain. On a road leading far to the east, an endless stream of tourists climbed up the stairs. Go straight to the artificial lake, go around the east lakeside avenue and cross the bridge to the South Gate Square, and finally go to Qingliang Temple and walk out from the west door.

Yesterday, we still entered through the northwest corner gate. If it was going clockwise three days ago, then it is going counterclockwise this time.

The reasons why I decided to go back three days later are:

First, it was the first time I came to the main entrance, but I didn’t go outside to take a photo.

Secondly, the last time there was a Buddhist activity in the Main Hall, I didn’t have the chance to go in and take a closer look.

Third, I didn’t see Lien Zhan’s grandmother’s grave.

Fourth, I saw the "Qingliang World" archway from the Qingliang Temple landscape introduction through the online app, but I didn't know where it was in the park.

After two visits and almost visiting every corner of the 500-plus acres of the park, the question finally came to an answer.

Both times I came alone, and there were very few tourists like me who were very old.

Not far from the entrance on the first day, we met Xiao Yang, our teammate of the diabolo and stick team. The two stood and talked for a while, and then he walked back. It is only four stops away from the Bingong Community, and many people come here to exercise in the morning.

Masson pine and bamboo are most commonly planted in the park. There are also many plum trees. Lilac trees, peach trees, plum trees, etc. are all in bloom. The remaining trees are budding and growing leaves. There are many roses beside the road. When the flowers bloom, they will be very beautiful and fill the garden with fragrance.

On the hillside, the green masson pines and bamboos, the red peach blossoms, the purple lilacs, the pink and white plum blossoms with purple leaves, and the yellow fuchsias seem to form a palette of nature.

In the activity center, people of all ages, men, women and children come and go. Everyone uses equipment to exercise. The laughter of people, the squeaking of equipment, and the chirping of birds in the trees merged into a sweet symphony.

There is a large artificial lake in the east of the park. The water of the lake is crystal clear, and the blue waves are rippling when the wind blows.

There is a large arched stone bridge in the southwest, dividing the lake into two. There are many cruise ships parked there.

There are tourist floats on Huanhu Avenue, and visitors can buy tickets and ride on them at any time.

The entire lakeshore is shrouded in smokey willows and reflected in the water. The wind blows long willow silk, like a beautiful woman combing her long hair. The beautiful dancing posture seems to feel her trembling.

Facing such a natural beauty, I couldn't help but recite a limerick:

? The gentle breeze and willows in the February sky,

? The graceful and graceful drunken spring smoke.

? If you know that the world is better than heaven,

? The fairy will descend to earth long ago.

The name Yangliu is related to the dissolute and immoral Emperor Yang Guang of Sui Dynasty. It is said that he took a dragon boat south along the canal to Hangzhou for fun, ordered the officials and people to plant a large number of willow trees on both sides of the canal, and gave it the surname "Yang". From then on, the willow tree was called Yangliu.

Liu Yuxi wrote in "Zhuzhi Ci":

? The willows are as green as the Qingjiang River,

? I can hear the singing on the Langjiang River.

Not necessarily, especially in many places in the north, people are still accustomed to calling it willow instead of willow.

After passing the arch bridge, in front of you is the bustling Nanmenli Square. There are people who box and practice martial arts, people who dance with sticks, and people who carry cages and walk birds. I also played diabolo here for a while.

The most distinctive thing here is the mass-written land book. There are old men, old ladies, and even young people.

No wonder there are many calligraphers in Chang'an who have perfected their skills over time.

Most of these calligraphers write in block letters, and they write quite well.

There was an old lady who wrote very seriously and kept looking at the manuscript on her mobile phone. When I walked up to her, she was about to write the character "Cai", except for the following two points. It happens to be my last name, so it's a coincidence.

In the Sui Emperor Wen Square, we saw a majestic statue of Sui Wen Emperor (Yang Jian) ??astride a war horse. He reunited the north and south of China, established the Sui Dynasty, and made Chang'an its capital. Created a prosperous era of 23 years in office.

Walking into Qingliang Temple, you can see the majestic Main Hall and the atmosphere is solemn. On the lotus throne on the front, there are three golden Buddhas enshrined in fine workmanship. On the side are worshiped Buddha statues such as Guanyin, Guan Gong, Maitreya, and Thousand-Armed Avalokitesvara.

The Main Hall, the Heavenly King Hall, the Ksitigarbha Hall, the Qingliang Hall, and the Guanyin Hall form a spectacular temple complex. There is also a main hall under construction to the east, which is also very spectacular.

Beside the sidewalk on the east side of the south extension of Dongyi Road, next to Qingliang Temple, there is a "Tian Xian Bang (?)" archway.

I visited the park’s security guards, nuns, and local tourists all over the place, and the “Cool World” archway was not a sight in this park.

According to incomplete research, there are as many as 16 "Qingliang Temples" across the country. Fofa Temple in Meizhou, Guangdong and Longde County, Ningxia both have the same "Cool World" arch.

In order to find Lien Chan’s grandmother’s cemetery, near the children’s amusement park, I asked an old lady who was hunched over and whose legs were not very flexible. She wanted to take me to see it herself. On the way, I asked her how old she was, and she said that she was eighty-one years old and her home was next to the park. As we were going downhill, I stopped her worriedly. However, she stood on the slope and watched me go down to the bottom. Thank you very much to this warm-hearted old lady.

The cemetery of the grandmother of former Chinese Kuomintang Chairman Lien Chan is located south of Qingliang Temple.

I was in high spirits along the way, enjoying the scenery, taking photos, and forgetting about fatigue. Yesterday I traveled for more than two hours. My phone showed more than 10,000 steps, but I don’t know how many miles it was.
