Beihua University, referred to as Beihua for short, is located in Jilin City, Jilin Province. Calligraphy major aims to cultivate practical senior professionals with extensive calligraphy professional knowledge, strong calligraphy professional skills, broad cultural vision, good comprehensive quality and innovative ability, who can be competent in calligraphy creation, calligraphy theory research, calligraphy teaching and comprehensive application of calligraphy art. This major requires students to systematically master the basic theories, knowledge and skills of calligraphy, and have the basic abilities of calligraphy creation and research and the ability of calligraphy appreciation and evaluation.
