Western fonts refer to the fonts used in other alphabet-based texts other than Chinese characters and East Asian characters. They are all called Western fonts.
Mr. Akira Kobayashi, known as the number one person in Western fonts in Japan, is a master of fonts in both Japan and the West. He is familiar with Eastern and Western culture, history, modern calligraphy and font design. Often hired as a judge for international font design competitions, he found that many Asians did not know how to use Western fonts correctly, let alone how to combine Asian characters with Western characters.

Akira Kobayashi is a world-famous Western font designer and is known as "the first person in Western fonts" in Japan. Graduated from Musashino Art University in Japan, majoring in visual communication design.
From 1983 to 1989, he was engaged in font design at Shuyan Company. In 1989, he went to London to study Western calligraphy and typography for about a year and a half. After returning to Japan in 1990, he participated in the production of various Japanese fonts in the HIRAGINO series at Ziyu Kobo.
