It happened that there was a black plaque at the entrance of Luzhuang Garden, on which was written "Luzhuang" in big gold letters. It is said that these two sentences were written by Erh Lin's family at the expense of "fountain pen" 1000 silver dollar, and invited Xu Shichang, the then "great president".
Xinzhuang Garden faces the sea, but cleverly uses gardening to hide the sea in the garden. Only by turning out of the Moon Cave Gate and bypassing the bamboo forest can we witness its true meaning. Next to it stands a huge stone, "Broad Sky", written by Zhang Ruitu, a great calligrapher of the Ming Dynasty. It's really a moment, and the sky is vast.
In Xinzhuang Garden
The history of Xiamen embodies the ups and downs of the last century in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China, in which Gulangyu Island is the epitome and Longzhuang Garden is the epitome of Gulangyu Island. The owner of the garden is called Erh Lin, and the word "Zhuang Zhuang" is homophonic. Lin erjia was born in a famous family. He has been engaged in pioneering and reclamation since he started in grandfather's uncle, running industry and commerce, shipping and being rich. When his father Lin Weiyuan arrived, he was already the richest man in the area.
Further ahead are 44 bridges with winding paths leading to secluded places. Not exactly. There are 44 bridges, but the Erh Lin family was just 44 years old when the bridge was built. Such a "blatant" commemoration is the privilege of the founder. There is a gate under the stone bridge to introduce seawater into the garden, forming three spaces: the sea, the outer pool and the inner pool. Bridge twists and turns, Ling Bo lying in the sea, just like Youlong.
