Introduction to Liu Xishan

Liu Xishan, male, born in April 1936, is from Xuzhou, Jiangsu. Member of the Communist Party of China. National first-class artist. Graduated from the Electronics Department of Changchun Military Academy in 1956. He served in the Air Force from 1956 to 1981; in 1982, he served as deputy director of the Shandong Provincial Art Museum; in 1984, he served as director of the Historical Records Office of the Shandong Provincial Department of Culture. He currently works at the Shandong Provincial Art Museum, is a senior painter at the Shandong Painting Academy, a professor at the Art Training Center, and a member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association. His major works include "Mao Zedong's Calligraphy Art" and so on. There is also the former deputy director of Shanxi Provincial Science and Technology Commission.
