Xu Lincun's family is simple and tireless in learning. He is not proud of fame and art. It can be said that "my room is humble, but I am virtuous." In the middle of his studio, there is still a couplet inscribed for him by the famous calligrapher Zhang Boying, "Knowing the Fish, Riding the Horse". When Zhang Zai, the old curator of the Literature and History Museum, was 98 years old, he gave a plaque to his studio "Yisu Caotang". The poet Pan Yuanruo gave a poem: "It's not accidental that three generations meet. Ask Wen Da to hide by the lake?" Mr. Xu died of illness on June 3, 2005, at the age of 92.
