China is a famous calligraphy city in China, which was put forward by China Calligraphers Association in 2007. Its purpose is to further enhance the value of ancient calligraphy heritage in today's society, further exert the influence and radiation-driven role of ancient calligraphy city in today's society, and better promote the continuous development of calligraphy culture, thus promoting the development of advanced socialist culture and promoting the continuous development of socialist economic construction and reform and opening up. Linyi and Xuzhou were selected as the first batch of national famous calligraphy cities by China Calligraphers Association.
