How old are Hui Chong and Su Shi?

Hui Chong is 72 years older than Su Shi.

Hui Chong (965-10/7), a native of Jianyang, Fujian, became a monk in the Northern Song Dynasty and was good at poetry and painting. Su Shi (1037—11year), with the word Zi Zhan and He Zhong, was named Tieguan Taoist and Dongpo Buddhist, and was called Su Dongpo, Su Xian and Broken Immortal in the world. Su Shi wrote an inscription for Hui Chong's painting "Night Scene of the Spring River": "Peach blossoms outside the bamboo are three Liang, and the duck prophet warms the spring river", which is a masterpiece throughout the ages. Su Shi, a native of Meishan, Meizhou (now Meishan City, Sichuan Province), was a writer, calligrapher and painter in the Northern Song Dynasty, and a famous figure in historical water control. Father Su Xun, younger brother Su Zhe, also known as "Three Sus". Hui Chong's paintings have a far-reaching influence on later generations. In the Northern Song Dynasty, Guo's "Painting Spectrum and Seeing Records" recorded that "Jianyang monks painted geese, geese and egrets, especially small scenes. " In the Ming Dynasty, Dong Qichang wrote Hui Chong's Spring Dawn, comparing Hui Chong and Ju Ran, saying that their paintings were "masterpieces of painters". Wang Anshi's "Painting by Hui Chong, a monk who just left school, should be poetry" said: "There are many paintings, and Hui Chong is the most promising."
