Sun Yijiu (1906-1992), whose real name is Yijiu, whose nickname is "the lame old boy", is a famous peasant calligrapher. Born in the thirty-second year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty, he was born in Kantuan Town, Lixin County, Anhui Province. He was a member of Anhui Literature and History Museum, Anhui Calligraphers Association and Lixin CPPCC before his death.
