Qin Mingde, whose pen name is Mingde, was born in Jingzhou, a city in the south of Xiangxi in March 1949. He is a calligrapher, writer and good at poetry. In terms of calligraphy, there are five kinds of works, such as "A Grand View of China's Calligraphy Style" and "Mingde Shaozi Calligraphy Art". Some calligraphy works have won gold and silver prizes in domestic calligraphy competitions. His novels, essays and poems have been published nearly 2 million words in dozens of journals such as October, Contemporary Writers and Chinese Poetry, and there are novellas, short stories, Water Ghosts, and poems, Selected Poems of Mingde.
