Li Yanqiu's calligraphy is good at official script, and he is also good at seal script and simplified Chinese characters. Thousands of works have been collected by professional organizations at home and abroad, and many works have been collected by national first-class collection units such as the Great Hall of the People, Zhongnanhai, Chairman Mao Memorial Hall and the State Council CPPCC. His works participated in the first national calligraphy exhibition. His works have been published by more than 20 newspapers and media such as People's Daily, Beijing Daily, Shaanxi Daily, xi Bao and Calligraphy Magazine, and more than 40 monographs have been included.
His works have won 5 excellent prizes, 3 first prizes, 5 silver prizes and 2 special prizes. More than a dozen large dictionaries have included words.
