Zhang Dongsheng, a native of Beijing, 1954 was born in Beijing. He graduated from the Art Department of Beijing Institute of Education. He is currently a director of China Calligraphers Association, a member of China Calligraphers Association, a senior researcher of Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Institute, a member of Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Institute, a member of Beijing Zhongshan Calligraphy and Calligraphy Society, a member of China Architectural Art Association, a member of Beijing Dongcheng Calligraphy and Calligraphy Association and a member of China Collectors Association.
