Have descendants. Among Li Si's children, only one Li You has detailed records in history books.
Li Si (? ~ 208 BC) was a native of Shangcai (now Li Silou Community, Chongyang Office, Shangcai County, Zhumadian City, Henan Province) in the State of Chu at the end of the Warring States Period. A famous politician, writer and calligrapher in the Qin Dynasty.
After the death of the First Emperor, he and Zhao Gaojiao forced Fusu to commit suicide and established Hu Hai as emperor. After the peasant uprising broke out at the end of Qin Dynasty, he advised the second generation to enforce more laws and practice "supervision and accountability" to strengthen the monarch's power. Later, he was falsely accused of treason by Zhao Gao and sentenced to five punishments. He was cut in half and killed in the Yi tribe in Xianyang City.
Li You (? - 208 BC), a native of Shangcai, the son of Qin Prime Minister Li Si, served as the governor of Sanchuan County. Later, the world was in chaos and anti-Qin rebels continued in various places. Wu Guang led the rebels and won many battles. He was preparing to conquer Sanchuan County and march directly to Xianyang. However, when the rebel army attacked Xingyang, they encountered stubborn resistance from the Qin army under Li You. As a result, Xingyang could not be captured for a long time, forming a stalemate, which caused the rebel army to suffer a lot and accelerated the division within the rebel army. Later, the Xiang family rose up, and Xiang Liang defeated the Qin army in Dingtao, and ordered Xiang Yu and Liu Bang to capture Sanchuan County. Li You led his army to fight Xiang Yu in Yongqiu. Although he fought bravely against the rebels, Xiang Yu was so brave that he was killed by Xiang Yu among the thousands of troops.
