The form of calligraphy works
There are various forms of calligraphy works, including vertical (main hall, banners and couplets), horizontal (banners, horizontal curtains and long scrolls), orthography (bucket square and lens) and fan (folding fan and round fan).
vertical
Nave is usually written in quadruped, which is vertical, so it is named because it hangs in the middle of a room (or living room). The works are large and square, and the aspect ratio is generally 2: 1 or 3: 2. Some works are written in three feet, called small main hall.
Generally, banners are vertical, vertical, long, narrow, long and self-financing banners. Its length-width ratio is generally 3: 1 or 4: 1.
