How do primary school students take the calligraphy grade examination?

Primary school students who want to take the calligraphy grade examination can register on the Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Grade Examination website. The exam is held twice a year, in May and November.

During the valid registration period, log in to the Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Grade Examination Network, click Candidate Services - Online Registration, register information and choose to apply for calligraphy/hard-tipped calligraphy subjects. Levels range from level one to level nine.

The calligraphy test content is divided into two parts, soft pen and hard pen. Soft pens account for 40% of the total score, and hard pens account for 60% of the total score.
