On April 3, 2019, Teacher Aqian brought the book-opening learning method to everyone at the Yongtang Reading Meeting in Liushi. The students present also used lively discussions and exchanges to make this sharing meeting It seems more relaxed and harmonious. Let me share with you some of the students’ thoughts after listening to the lecture.
The first student shared:
Learning makes people enlightened, and this enlightenment feels good
Sitting among the flowers of Yongtang Dynasty, Many book friends came to listen to the "book-opening learning method" taught by Teacher Qian Heji of Wenzhou University. What impressed me deeply was that the teacher asked us to divide the four of us into a group at the beginning to get to know each other first and talk about why we came to the class and what we expected to gain. Everyone started talking, including me. I am also very happy to get to know the book friends sitting next to me. I usually come to lectures and leave after listening. As time goes by, the impression will fade.
Why should we learn calligraphy? The goal is to improve abilities and solve problems. It is an adult learning method and its scope is practical books. The overall framework is: R: Reading. I: guide and promote. A: Take it apart for your own use.
First of all, a theme is given, which is that everyone has things that are controllable and uncontrollable, and they should focus on things that they can control and can make a difference, which is the so-called 'influence' lock up'. Then let everyone discuss whether there are controllable and uncontrollable things in their past and share them. At this time, an important rule for reading books was put forward: whether there is a link between the text and past experience.
The second theme is: a simple method to effectively improve work efficiency. It means doing fixed things (important but not urgent things) at a fixed time. You can start with small amounts and less time and stick to it. Then give everyone 8 minutes to talk about whether they have such a habit and benefit from it.
The third theme is the Pomodoro method of time management, which is to do only one thing within 25 minutes without looking at the phone, going to the toilet, eating, etc., every time you eat a tomato Take a 5-minute break and then do whatever else you did for the 25 minutes. It seems slow, but in fact the effect is much higher. Finally, Teacher Qian gave us 25 minutes to practice the Pomodoro Technique. The message given by this rule is 1. Complete concentration; 2. Take the initiative to rest.
What touched me the most this time was the teacher’s teaching method in class, which allowed me to truly experience that letting book friends discuss among themselves is a great method. In fact, everyone likes to share, so I can share with you. The teacher formed an interaction and also allowed the book friends to interact with each other, creating a strong sense of participation. Thank you very much, teacher, for giving me this profound experience.
When I returned home, I applied the Pomodoro method to my child’s study. His concentration and efficiency will be greatly improved.
Adults know many things but don’t understand them, so it is consistent with the teacher’s statement that adults do not need to be educated, but only need to be reminded.
Thank you again, Teacher Qian, and I look forward to having the opportunity to take your mind mapping class next time.
The second student’s sharing:
Last night at the Yongtang Reading Club in Liushi, the lecturer was Teacher Qian Heji from the University of Wenzhou, and the topic was "The Study Method of Opening Books". Teacher Qian uses a flipped classroom, where every four people are in groups to discuss different topics, and then invite book friends to share. Reminds me of Jewish education, where there is no quiet classroom. Teacher Qian is very friendly and the class is very relaxing. I studied for two and a half hours without even realizing it. Opening books is suitable for adult learning with the goal of improving ability to solve problems. Being learner-centered rather than knowledge-centered and doing fixed things at a fixed time can quickly improve efficiency. Adult learning does not require education, it just needs to be reminded. In the last 25 minutes, let each book friend focus on one thing through the Pomodoro Technique, truly apply what they have learned, and benefit a lot. Thanks to the staff of Yongtang Flower Room, we are grateful to every volunteer who has contributed silently.
The third student shared:
Simple Love ~ Appreciating the 900th Day of Gratitude Diary
I am grateful that I am alive and healthy and happy!
Thank you, dear universe, for having another fulfilling and enjoyable day!
I am grateful to my parents for giving me life and allowing me to experience a rich and colorful life! Thank you for all the people, things and things I meet! All arrangements are the best arrangements!
That’s great! Another fulfilling and rewarding day! Tonight, I will participate in the study at Yongtang Station and learn the "Learning Splitting Method" taught by Wen Daqian Heji. This method is really practical! As long as a point in the book is related to your past and allows you to reflect on it, apply it in practice, and solve practical problems, that’s fine! It can help you quickly learn skills from the corresponding skill books and focus on solving practical problems! Learn to open books to make learning more practical, apply what you have learned, and make more people fall in love with learning!
Thanks to Teacher Qian Heji for his interactive and entertaining class, such learning is really enjoyable! Thank you to every volunteer and book friend at the Yongtang Reading Club Station! Only with you here can we have such a great positive energy field! Thanks to Sister Xiaoyan for providing such a beautiful venue! Be grateful for the happenings and growth every day!
I would like to spend the rest of my life doing one thing: let every family have someone who understands health! Build the pipeline business together with your partners! I believe I can achieve my dream! keep on going
The sharing of the three students showed us how much they have benefited and their attitude towards learning. I am grateful to every student for sharing, and thank you for your fruitful harvest, which made Teacher Aqian’s lectures more meaningful.
