Sun Weizu’s date of birth

Sun Weizu, whose name is Kezhai, was born in 1953 in Shanghai. He is currently a researcher at the Shanghai Museum, a researcher at the Chinese Art Research Institute and the China Academy of Seal Engraving Art, deputy secretary-general of the Xiling Seal Society, vice-chairman and director of the Academic Committee of the Shanghai Calligraphers Association, deputy director of the Seal Engraving Committee, and a researcher at the Shanghai Calligraphy Research Center.

When I was young, I learned calligraphy and seal carving under the guidance of Mr. Weng Sixun and Gu Maojun, and then learned from Mr. Han Tianheng. He also studied the appraisal of seal carvings from Mr. Ma Chengyuan.

His calligraphy and seal cutting works have been selected into the first, second, third, and third national seal cutting art exhibitions, the fourth and fifth national calligraphy and seal cutting exhibitions, the National Art Museum of China Contemporary Seal Cutting Art Invitational Exhibition, the Contemporary Seal Cutting Art Exhibition, and the Contemporary Famous Deputy Secretary Seal Society International Calligraphy and Seal Cutting Exhibition, Xiling Seal Society Seal Cutting Art Jury Exhibition, Macao Calligraphy and Painting Joint Exhibition and other jury members.
