First, calligraphy is far more profound than we thought. Nowadays, many people are learning regular script, not only because of its dignity, but also because it is conducive to cultivating noble character. As the saying goes, Chinese characters are just like people. Practicing Chinese characters is not only to make people look good, but also to cultivate a kind of character. Therefore, calligraphy is not only a special way of writing, but also a multiple expression of our national character.
Second, calligraphy should be publicized. At this stage of primary and secondary education, apart from offering calligraphy classes in big cities and actually teaching them, although there are calligraphy classes in many places, they are useless. So in most of the best age to learn calligraphy, I have never been exposed to calligraphy, so how can we inherit this culture? Therefore, not only in primary and secondary education, but also in universities and society, we should strengthen the publicity of calligraphy.
Third, future technology will not eliminate calligraphy. Some people say that with the gradual development of mobile phones and computer handwriting, people no longer need to write with pens to communicate, and calligraphy naturally has no meaning. This is ridiculous, because calligraphy itself is an art, a discipline of self-cultivation, which every China person who wants to pursue a noble realm must learn. It can't be regarded as just a kind of communication text, but also an emotional culture. Therefore, no matter how fast science and technology develop in the future, our calligraphy will not be abandoned. As long as we publicize it in time and strive to pass it on, it will form the root of the Chinese nation and nothing will shake it.
