Long Qinglian's Character Story

According to Gan Jian, in the summer of 20 1 1, Long Qinglian completed a folk painting "A Street in Hotan" with a length of 1 10, which reflected the market in Hotan in the 1980s. Over the past 30 years, Long Qinglian has traveled to Hotan area for more than 50 times, with a journey of more than 10,000 miles. He draws nourishment from vivid experience and careful observation of real life. It was completed after three years of painstaking creation.

During the Spring Festival of 20 13, Xinjiang Chinese Painting Academy invited four famous calligraphers, Xi Shiluo, Tao Ran, Long Qinglian and Fang Li, to write four couplets and four "fu" characters. When she got home, Long Qinglian spread out red paper and wrote this couplet in one go: "Long Tengyu Ji Chun, the snake dance is brilliant".

Long Qinglian said that the Spring Festival is a traditional festival with rich China culture. The state has always called for the integration of traditional culture into the lives of the broad masses of the people. Both painters and the media have this responsibility to make China's traditional culture and art more deeply rooted in people's hearts and enrich people's lives.
