Lin Peng, whose word is "Fufeng", is called "Mengzhai" and "Xiawushan". Born in February, 1928, from Yixian County, Hebei Province. 194 1 participated in the revolution, experienced War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, the War of Liberation and the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, and served as the acting editor-in-chief of the 65th Military Newspaper of the People's Liberation Army. He used to be the chairman of Shanxi Branch of China Calligraphers Association, the director of China Calligraphers Association, and the member of the creative review committee. Now he is honorary chairman of Shanxi Calligraphers Association, honorary professor of taiyuan normal College, and consultant of Institute of Calligraphy and Painting Culture of Shanxi Normal University. Calligraphy is good at grass, vigorous and powerful, heroic and magnificent. Known for its grass, calligraphy is known as "Lin Sanzhi in the south and Lin Peng in the north".
