Zheng Banqiao, formerly known as Zheng Xie, is known as Banqiao, also known as Mr Banqiao. The following is my understanding of Zheng Banqiao's life. I hope you like it.
Zheng Banqiao, a painter and calligrapher in Qing Dynasty, combined the original works, cursive script, official script and seal script into one, and created a "six-and-a-half-minute book", which has the reputation of "littering the streets with stones and chapters". Among them, the most popular calligraphy is "it's hard to get confused" and "it's a blessing to suffer". Zheng Banqiao's "Rare Confusion" is unique and elegant, full of fun and lasting appeal. There is a "muddleheaded" brick carving in Zheng Banqiao Memorial Hall in Xinghua, Jiangsu Province, which has now become a treasure in the museum.
"inextricably linked" seems to be like four people standing there stagger, quite like playing dumb. Look at the postscript, just like the crowd coming from on the boulevard, the old man is planning his staff, and the little grandson is holding it; Boys are arrogant and girls are shy; People in a hurry grab the road, and Xu Zhe flashes; The strong pick things, and the weak follow. Its pen and ink are free and the cat is smooth. Or, blustery, easy and changeable; Or like flying flowers and snow, it is very natural and free and easy. The origin of the word "little confusion" is quite interesting.
It is said that Zheng Banqiao went to Yunfeng Mountain in Laizhou to see Gong Zheng's memorial tablet, and spent the night at an old man's house at the foot of the mountain. The old man claimed to be an abandoned savage. Zheng Banqiao noticed his elegant manners and had a very speculative conversation with him. The old man has a big inkstone with delicate stone and exquisite carving. Zheng Banqiao appreciates it very much. The old man asked Zheng Banqiao to leave Mo Bao so that someone could carve it on the inkstone. Zheng Banqiao felt that the old man's confusion must have its origin, so he inscribed the word "rare confusion" and stamped his own seal "Kangxi scholar, Yongzheng juren, Qianlong Jinshi". The inkstone is as big as a square table, and there is a lot of spare space. Zheng Banqiao asked the old man to write a postscript. The old man did not refuse, and casually wrote: "Beautiful stones are hard to get, especially stubborn stones, and it is even harder to change from beautiful stones to stubborn stones. Beauty is in the middle, stubborn outside, hiding in the savage house, not entering the rich door. " After writing, I also stamped a chapter: "The college entrance examination is the first, the provincial examination is the second, and the palace examination is the third." Zheng Banqiao realized that the old man was a retired official.
Seeing that there was still room in the inkstone, he added: "It is difficult to be smart, especially confused, and it is even more difficult to change from smart to confused. Let go, take a step back, feel at ease now, and it will pay off later. " The old man clapped his hands and laughed when he saw it. One is a county magistrate who has experienced vicissitudes of life, and the other is a retired official who was once famous. They met bosom friends here. "Not easily confused" is Zheng Banqiao's understanding of vicissitudes. Taking Dayan as the medium, he left a much-told story after his soul collided.
Later generations thought that "rareness and confusion" included philosophy, so the word "rareness and confusion" spread more and more widely.
