Traditional Chinese characters mean that Chinese characters with more strokes have been replaced by simplified Chinese characters. The latest standard is "Standardizing the Arrangement Table of Traditional Chinese Characters and Variants", which was promulgated and implemented in the State Council on June 5, 20 13. There is no word "ear" in this table, so it is unnecessary to be simple and complicated. "Er" is an inherited word, not a traditional Chinese character or a simplified one.
(The number of the word "ear" in the Chinese character list of the General Specification is 0369)
