Zhou Xifei’s calligraphy attainments

Zhou Xifei loves calligraphy and seal cutting very much, he is so selfless and never stops writing. In his early years, he learned calligraphy from Tang Kai and laid a solid foundation for his calligraphy skills; in his middle age, he used "Two Kings" as the ink line to obtain its elegant and unrestrained charm; in his later years, he integrated into Beibei, especially "Zhang Menglong Monument", "Zhang Xuan's Epitaph", "Zhang Xuan Epitaph" and "Zhang Menglong Monument". He worked very diligently on the "Maming Temple Stele" and "Zheng Wengong Stele" to obtain the strange and dangerous brushwork and the vast atmosphere. Recently, he followed the example of Wu Changshuo, Shen Zengzhi and Kang Youwei to strengthen his spirit. In recent years, he has refined and sublimated the dignified and simple lines of the Bei stele, transforming it into a thin, spicy yet agile look, like a ten thousand-year-old vine, green and moist; also like a circling horned dragon, calm and changeable. The arrogance is overwhelming. Its structure draws on the inscription "Two Zhangs", with the central palace tightened and the four sides open, forming a multi-faceted but stable and clear pattern. Coupled with his unique free and easy mind and artist's emotions, his works are spicy in style, messy in composition, and dangerous in structure. In the free and consistent writing style, there is a vigorous and vigorous character. It can be said that "at the time of the meeting, everyone and the book are old"! Zhou Xifei was good at seal cutting. He pursued the seals of the Qin and Han Dynasties, followed the masters of Erjindietang and Xiling. He integrated them thoroughly, took the essence and used macros, and the seals he created were ancient, profound, fresh, powerful and elegant. Over the past few decades, it has managed more than a thousand seals and spread far and wide at home and abroad, winning the favor of fellow Jinshi. His works have been published many times in major domestic and foreign publications. Over the past decades, he has written more than 100 movie subtitles in various calligraphy styles.
