It is an important subject to establish the education system of calligraphy and its culture and art (including writing) in China. We can neither treat this important cultural topic with outdated concepts nor weaken calligraphy culture education with the importance of modern scientific and technological development. How can we make our calligraphy (including writing) education form a complete mechanism from the most basic part to higher education? Get into the normal track? This should be a problem that China's educational circles and Chinese people need to seriously consider. So, what kind of education system should China's calligraphy have? I think it should be established and improved from the following aspects.
(1) Strengthen the primary school writing class education, completely separate the writing class from the Chinese class and upgrade it to the main class (with pencil, pen, brush writing and basic theory as the teaching content). At the same time, improve the Chinese writing level of existing primary and secondary school teachers as soon as possible (existing primary and secondary school teachers (especially Chinese teachers) can carry out strict calligraphy practice and theoretical training, and those who fail can not take up their posts), and completely reverse the weak environment and backward concepts of calligraphy, Chinese writing and calligraphy culture in the education industry.
(2) Excavate the existing calligraphy talents in the society, enrich the calligraphy professionals with certain calligraphy theory, practice and teaching level from various provinces and cities to engage in calligraphy teaching in universities, middle schools and primary schools, and establish a formal calligraphy major.
(3) The basic knowledge of calligraphy culture is added in the teaching of middle schools, and the practical course of brush calligraphy is also added. Students' basic knowledge and practical ability of calligraphy must reach the corresponding level, otherwise they cannot graduate.
(4) Calligraphy education in institutions of higher learning, from junior college to undergraduate college, is connected with the existing master's and doctor's majors, forming a complete higher education system, which is popularized in colleges and universities all over the country.
(5) Standardize the definitions of amateur calligraphy art and professional calligraphy art as soon as possible. (that is, at what level should amateur calligraphy art be positioned and professional calligraphy art should be positioned). At the same time, it is necessary to make clear the combination of calligraphy practice and calligraphy theory knowledge (that is, how high the level of calligraphy practice is and how high the level of knowledge in calligraphy theory is).
(6) Establish a complete calligraphy culture discipline and theoretical research institution as soon as possible, and start and do a good job in the horizontal connection of this discipline as soon as possible.
(7) Incorporate the calligraphy major into the college entrance examination enrollment, completely separate from the fine arts major, and set up a separate major, which is equivalent to other majors.
(8) The establishment of a special calligraphy professional mechanism in society can be carried out from both calligraphy practice and theory.
The perfection and standardization of calligraphy education can not only revitalize national culture and enrich social majors, but also increase employment channels and solve employment problems. China's calligraphy art and culture can't go on like this, but should have its own place. Because it is the concrete embodiment of China culture and China's cultural thought. We look forward to a prosperous modern calligraphy culture and art from education to communication. Together with the development of science and technology in China, it will become a complete blueprint for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
