Lou Shibai

1965438+Born in June 2008. Liuyang, Hunan. Formerly known as Shaohuai, another famous mountain pass is called Lao 'an Caotang.

1942 graduated from the Fine Arts Department of Fu Jen Catholic University in Beijing, and specialized in painting after graduation. He is currently a member of China Artists Association, vice president of Beijing Chinese Painting Research Association and director of Beijing Calligraphers Association. He is currently a member of China Artists Association, vice president of Beijing Chinese Painting Research Association, honorary professor of China Correspondence University of Painting and Calligraphy, and a first-class artist of Beijing Painting Academy.

Lou Shibai, a disciple of Qi Baishi, has been studying poetry, calligraphy and seal cutting with Baishi since he was 14 years old. Following him for 25 years, his works have Qi Baishi's style. He is a descendant of Qi School and is good at painting flowers, birds and fruits. His works have participated in the national exhibition of history and art, and have been invited to give lectures in art colleges in Singapore, the United States and other countries. His works are collected by the Great Hall of the People, State Guesthouse and many museums at home and abroad.

Lou Shibai's representative works include Spring Blossoms, Duckling, Sailing Shadow of Lijiang River, Long Snow, etc. He is the author of Qi Baishi's Painting Art, Lou Shibai's Painting Collection, Duck Painting and Lou Shibai's Handwriting.

His works are not only good at flowers, feathers, insects and animals, but also have their own characteristics in figure landscape painting, so he can be called an accomplished painter today.

His works are characterized by vigorous brushwork, fresh artistic conception, fresh but not bright colors, elegant but not vulgar, imitating nature and outstanding texture.

For example, his representative works, Ricinus communis, Myna Lily, Duck Farm, Flooded Forest, Sailing Shadow of Lijiang River, and Sandiequan, have all been well received. His works have been exhibited at home and abroad for many times and published in various publications. Many of his works have been collected by domestic and foreign art colleges, museums and collectors such as Zhongnanhai, the Great Hall of the People, art galleries, state guesthouses and embassies abroad.

He is not only a famous painter at home and abroad, but also has made some achievements in painting theory. In addition to publishing many articles in journals, he also published works such as How Qi Baishi Made Printing, Painting Duck, Painting Shrimp, Qi Baishi's Painting Art, Lou Shibai's Painting Collection, Lou Shibai's Painting Collection, and Lou Shibai's Printing Spectrum. Among them, Qi Baishi's Painting Art introduces Mr. Baishi's painting techniques and creative ideas in detail and systematically, which is unprecedented in China.

In China, he was invited to Central Academy of Fine Arts, Central Academy of Arts and Crafts, Central University for Nationalities, Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, Hunan Normal University, Xiamen University and Xiamen Academy of Arts and Crafts. Other art groups and other places give lectures. Overseas Auckland College of Arts and Crafts gave lectures and held exhibitions, Maryland Institute of Technology gave lectures, San Diego University gave lectures, San Francisco State University gave lectures, China Gallery (San Francisco Bay Area, USA) gave lectures and held exhibitions at the World Gallery of Korean Pine Forest University in Eureka, California, and Nanhai Gallery in San Francisco Bay Area gave lectures and held exhibitions. "Lou Shibai China Art Exhibition" was held in Singapore. Lou Shibai Art Exhibition held by Victoria City Art Museum, Victoria A & amp; A painting exhibition, the Toronto International Art Museum held exhibitions and lectures, which made positive contributions to promoting the painting art of the motherland.
