Zhang Yun Middle School (1935~) is a native of Ninghe, Tianjin. Department-level procurator of Tanggu District People's Procuratorate in Tianjin. Senior teaching and research fellow of China Calligraphy and Painting Talent Research Center of Ministry of Personnel, first-class calligrapher, member of China Hard Pen Calligraphers Association, member of China Couplet Association, member of Calligraphy Committee, director of China-Japan-Korea New Calligraphers Association, director of Contemporary Calligraphers Association, distinguished calligrapher of Contemporary Fugue Calligraphers Association, member of Tianjin Calligraphers Association and member of Modern Chinese Hard Pen Calligraphers Association. He won many prizes in the national calligraphy competition. He has won the third prize of "Women's Cup" National Book Competition, "Kang Hua Cup", "Four My Cups" and the Excellence Award of Contemporary United Mexican Competition. Calligraphy works were selected into the Grand View of International Contemporary Calligraphy Seal Cutting and the Collection of International Modern Calligraphy Works. In recent years, he won the "China Calligraphy and Painting Art Seminar Beijing Pen Club Achievement Award" and the "First Olympic International Calligraphy and Painting Art Exhibition" Excellence Award in the National Calligraphy Competition. More than 30 calligraphy works have been published and exhibited in China Calligraphy, Calligraphy, Calligraphy and other newspapers. Some of them have also been collected by museums and memorial halls such as Zhongnanhai and Chairman Mao Memorial Hall, as well as stone carvings such as Guangzhou Beilin and Changde Poetry Wall, and by institutions and individuals such as Australia, Malaysia and Taiwan Province Province.
