Chen Dayu studied under Qi Baishi in 1946. 1948 lecturer of freehand brushwork flower-and-bird painting in Chinese painting department of Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts. 1950 Associate Professor, Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts. From 65438 to 0958, he was transferred to the Fine Arts Department of Nanjing Art Institute as a professor. He used to be the executive director of China Artists Association, the vice chairman of Jiangsu Artists Association and a member of Calligraphers Association.
Sun Dayu, Qiao Xue, graduated from Shandong Normal University with a bachelor's degree. Graduated from the master's program of China Academy of Fine Arts, and was a visiting scholar of the institute. He has worked as an editor in China National Painting Academy and Beijing Today Art Museum. Now he is the president of China Painting Network and the academic secretary of Wu Yueshi Studio of the National Academy of Painting.
Calligraphy, painting and seal cutting works have been exhibited in national exhibitions for many times and won prizes.
