Mastering the basic brushwork of seal script is the most critical basic skill to learn seal script well. The basic brushwork of Xiao Zhuan should be summarized by "central pen". In other words, the main front of the pen must be in the center of the painting so as not to be exposed. It is characterized by hiding the head and protecting the tail, which contains strength, because the strokes written by the central pen are concise, powerful, round and beautiful, and have always been regarded as the main method of calligraphy.
