1. Yang Zhenyu was born in 1944 in Taihe County, Anhui, the hometown of culture and art. He has been passionate about calligraphy and painting since he was a child, and studied under masters such as Zhang Penglu and Lai Shaoqi. He is currently a member of the Chinese Artists Association, a member of the Anhui Calligraphers Association, the president of the Huahai Painting and Calligraphy Academy, and the distinguished honorary president of the Zhejiang Lizhou Painting Academy.

2. Artistic style: Yang Zhenyu’s traditional Chinese painting combines ancient and modern times from the north to the south. It is elegant and popular, simple and vigorous. He is good at painting figures, landscapes, flowers and birds, and is good at painting fish and tigers. His "Hundred Fish Picture" is well-known in Southeast Asia.
