During the Han and Yuan Dynasties, Chen Zun was appointed as the governor of Beijing, and later served as the administrative officer of Tingwei.

The story of Chen De
Chen Zun, whose real name is Meng Gong, is from Ling Du. He is a famous calligrapher in the Western Han Dynasty and the founder of "Paper Seal". The dates of birth and death are unknown. He was named Wei because of his meritorious service in fighting bandits. Chen Zun likes drinking, unrestrained and informal. He was a native of Taiyuan, Jiujiang, Hanoi and Jinghe Pavilion.

It happens that the owner of Chang 'an is a rich man or a widow. The news soon reached the ears of a company called Chen Chong. He told the emperor that Chen Zun was a senior official and he went to the widow's house to drink for the night. He not only ignored his official status as a missionary of the Holy King, but also ignored his status as a widow. He violated the etiquette of the minister and seriously damaged the majesty of the court. He suggested getting rid of Chen Zun and his brother. Later, Chen Zun was removed from office. However, Chen Zun is not ashamed of this and still goes his own way. In Chang 'an municipal government, he entertained guests to drink.
