It was unlucky for the emperor to avoid the word "escape", so he added a horizontal line with a stroke of his hand, so there was no meaning of "escape".
First, calligraphy taboo.
When Kangxi wrote the inscription, he thought it was unlucky to avoid it. Is he here for the summer? So he waved his hand and added a horizontal line under the word "letter", which was called "adding pen" or "missing pen" in ancient calligraphy, mainly to avoid some implication or other factors, and it was based on the writer's personal concept.
Second: deliberately write wrong.
Add a horizontal line under the word "Xin", mainly because Kangxi felt that the emperor's road was very hard, and it was really not easy for Qing to get into his own hands. In addition, he ascended the throne at the age of 8, came to power at the age of 65, outsmarted Ao Bai at 438+04, pacified San Francisco, stabilized the southwest and expelled Russia. It's really hard, and now he enjoys it here. Only he knows the hardships along the way, so he added a horizontal line.
Third: coinage.
It is said that Kangxi's inscription is magnificent. After writing an operation, he found that the word "taboo" was wrong, so he wrote it wrong. Anyway, the minister he wrote dare not say more, just look at his prestige.
In fact, these are speculations of later scholars. Kangxi copied a lot of calligraphy, and the word "taboo" with horizontal lines was not the first one written by Kangxi. It has existed for a long time in the history of China.
Ou Yangxun's Inscription on Liquan in Jiucheng Palace in the Tang Dynasty recorded that Emperor Taizong discovered Liquan during his summer vacation in Jiucheng Palace, and the word "taboo" was added to the inscription.
