At that time, Master Xingyuan founded the "Yuetai Buddhist Research Society" at Chengda Temple in Quanzhou. Hongyi helped organize the ancient Buddhist scriptures stored in the temple. He first formulated six rules and compiled the catalog into five series, each of which was divided into Zen Buddhism, Vinaya Buddhism, etc. , each part is further divided into two types: A and B (type A is the complete version and type B is the fragmentary version), which is quite detailed.
