Liu Guanjun, the inheritor of Dunhuang sutra writing style and the first person of Chinese regular script. He is currently the president of the China Dunhuang Sutra Calligraphy Research Association. Member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association and the master of Beijing Enlightenment Studio. He won the silver medal of the "First Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Art Exhibition in the 21st Century", the title of artist of the "Huabiao Award", the "Painting Saint Boutique Award" of the Holy Grail Grand Prix of Chinese Painting and Calligraphy, and the most influential investor in Hong Kong International Auction in 2006. In 2011, French President Sarkozy awarded Mr. Liu Guanjun the Bronze Medal of the Centenary Exhibition of Chinese Ink Painting at the Louvre Museum in Paris.

Liu Guanjun, male, born in 1952, native of Liaoning. He is the inheritor of Dunhuang sutra writing style, the first person in Chinese regular script, and the president of China Dunhuang Sutra Calligraphy Research Association. He has been passionate about calligraphy since he was a child and has been studying calligraphy for more than 50 years. Although he has gone through many life changes and setbacks, and has experienced ups and downs in his works, he finally achieved his artistic status by writing sutras in small regular script and Dunhuang style.

In 2012, the market price of Liu Guanjun’s calligraphy works was assessed at 6,000-8,000 yuan per square foot, as assessed by the Beijing Imperial City Art Trading Center.
