Why do interior designers like to write calligraphy and play guitar?

Generally, designers in this major are all from artistic backgrounds. Writing calligraphy exercises patience and improves artistic taste. Interior design and drawing are patient. Playing guitar as a hobby. Designers around me generally have artistic hobbies, of course, not necessarily playing guitar and calligraphy. Personal opinion ... hope to adopt.
