The Life of the Characters in Xu Sihao's Works

Xu Sihao, a famous calligrapher, 1955, was born in Ningbo, Zhejiang. 1965 studied calligraphy with the famous calligrapher Li Tianma, 1982 joined the China Calligraphers Association Shanghai Branch, 1994 became a member of the Art Committee of China Calligraphy Art Research Institute, and 1999 became a part-time painter of Shanghai Calligraphy and Painting Research Institute. His works have participated in Shanghai Calligraphy Exhibition and China-Japan, China-Korea Calligraphy Exchange Exhibition for many times. In 2000, Li Tianma's Calligraphy Collection was edited and published. In 2006, he published the inscriptions on bronze tablets, the cursive edition in 2008, the handicraft creative industry in 2009, and the introduction to cursive script in 2012,2014. Proficient in all kinds of calligraphy, especially in inscriptions on bronze, running script, Cao Zhang and cursive script.

Xu Sihao used to be the deputy director of shanghai jade carving Factory, the director of Shanghai Arts and Crafts Research Institute, the general manager of Shanghai Arts and Crafts Corporation, the party secretary, chairman and general manager of Shanghai Laofengxiang Co., Ltd., the president of Shanghai Arts and Crafts Industry Association and the vice president of Shanghai Gemstone Association.

Xu Sihao is currently the director of Shanghai Calligraphers Association, the deputy director of the Seal Carving Committee of Shanghai Calligraphers Association, and the curator of Shanghai Pen and Ink Museum. Vice President of Shanghai New World Group, Chairman of Shanghai Zhou Huchen Cao Sugong Pen and Ink Company, Vice President of China Gemstone Association and President of Shanghai Arts and Crafts Industry Association.
