Yan Shu is the sixth largest calligraphy school in China, founded by Ma Yongan, a contemporary calligrapher. China's calligraphy has six styles, namely: running script, cursive script, official script, seal script, regular script and regular script. Abbreviations: Xing, Cao, Li, Zhuan, Kai and Yan. Yan Shu, stippling, brushwork and posture taking are all different from traditional calligraphy, which is a brand-new calligraphy style. The birth of Yan Shu ushered in a new era of China's calligraphy.
