About calligraphy practice (non-professional friends don't answer)

In view of these recent analyses:

1, you prefer running script. I suggest you refer to Yan Zhenqing's capital letters and Li Beihai's capital letters first, copy them first and then come back, and scrutinize them repeatedly;

2, don't use the pen too fast, especially don't "chic" tail-sweeping, you must follow: center pen, Lida pen tail, Marriott Qi Li, from the beginning to the end of the pen, don't relax, don't handle it rashly, don't cross;

3. Calligraphy is summarized by predecessors. For example, vertical painting is generally thicker than horizontal painting, just like several pillars stand up the whole word, and the proportion of up, down and left should be coordinated. These are the basic principles of the beauty of calligraphy, so be sure to make it clear before writing;

4, strokes don't learn cursive first, use cursive strokes first, it can be seen that the landlord has also practiced, but a little impatient, or return to the beginner's mentality, first stroke;

5. In particular, we should understand why the change of thickness, length and turning point is not arbitrary, but re-creation after mastering strokes. Without such skills, there is no need for adventure or strangeness, so most of a work is in line with the law, and a few are to highlight the emphasis on the spiritual connotation and emotional portrayal of the work, which is in line with the artistic law of calligraphy creation.
