Six major improvements in sharpening the mind

Books: Living Laws

Mr. kazuo inamori said in the Living Law: "The meaning of life lies in improving the mind and tempering the soul." So, how can we temper our minds and purify our souls? Kazuo inamori summed up the "six improvements". They are:

1. Pay as much as anyone else's efforts.

Modesty prevents arrogance.

Reflect every day

4. Be grateful when you are alive

5. Accumulate good deeds and think altruistically

6. Don't be emotionally troubled.

The so-called avenue to simplicity, although these six contents are easy to understand, are very enlightening:

1. I have the idea of "almost". If you work a little harder, you will be tired. In the future, no matter how you treat trivial matters in your work or life, you should have the idea of Excellence and do it with all your heart.

2. "Moderate gains are full of losses." I used to be proud of my small achievements, but I didn't know that cleverness was just a frog in the well. In order not to be a frog in the well, I will learn from people around me, books and the old iron in the community with an open mind.

The ancients said: three rescues a day. I will check my thoughts and actions every day to see if I have "followed the correct principles of being a man." For example, I walk my dog every night, and whether I find the dog throwing gold on the road or not, I will take the initiative to be a "shovel officer" with the idea of "not doing good or evil".

4. Always be grateful. If you are alive, you should thank your parents, your teachers, your colleagues and your friends for their help ... Only by being grateful can you taste satisfied happiness.

5. Altruism is the best self-interest. When I was young, I really couldn't understand it. I always live according to my own ideas and forget altruism. As we grow older, we experience the happiness of altruism. For example, more than a year of charity calligraphy class, although there are sacrifices every weekend, has benefited hundreds of children, promoted traditional culture, spread positive energy, purified the soul and gained happiness.

6. Don't worry emotionally. A few years ago, I was a very emotional person, impatient, irritable, anxious, angry, and unnecessarily sad. What you get is a tense colleague relationship, a morbid ego and unhappy days. When I realize this, I no longer vent my emotions when I encounter problems, but face them with a peaceful mind and focus on the present. In this way, we have gained a harmonious relationship, healthy body and good mood.

Although these six improvements are common, as long as we put them into practice, life will be better.
