Yang Peizhang (1850~1920), courtesy name Xiaocun, was born in Houhe Village, Houhe Town, Changge City, Henan Province today. Losing parents rarely, food and clothing are difficult. His uncle Bingchang took him to the training center in Junxian County, where he was given food, clothing, education, and treatment as if he were his own child. Xiaocun studied hard and entered Xiang as an official. In the twelfth year of Tongzhi (1873), he was awarded the title of tribute. In the second year of Guangxu (1876), he was promoted to Jinshi. The following year, he was awarded the title of Editor of the Hanlin Academy. At this time, colleagues around him were following the trend, and the trend of mutual respect was very strong. However, Xiaocun respected his reputation and integrity, stayed on his own, Du Men studied, and did not accept the powerful. Therefore, there was no promotion in the Ups and Downs Ci Museum for more than 20 years. In the 24th year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu (1898), he moved to the Imperial College to work in the Department of Economic Affairs, and later transferred to Zuochunfang Zuozhongyun Department of Economic Affairs. In the twenty-sixth year (1900), he served as a lecturer at the Hanlin Academy. The following year, he moved to wait for further study and was promoted to a bachelor's degree as a lecturer. He was awarded the title of Bachelor of the Cabinet and Minister of Rites. In the 29th year (1903), when he was appointed as the Deputy Capital Censor of the Supervisory Office, Xiaocun was honest and self-sufficient, and conducted himself with loyalty. He did not do anything to please people, and had few personal relationships. Although he held a high position, he had only a few people. Although his colleagues ridiculed him, Shinomura did not change his ways. Xiaocun is knowledgeable and good at appreciating ancient calligraphy and painting, and is regarded as an expert by the capital. It is uniquely created for literature, pure and elegant. The calligraphy is done by Yan Liu, with the characters written in Duan Kai. Unfortunately, he was introverted and kept very few works. He died in the 9th year of the Republic of China (1920).
In the Xinchou year of Guangxu (1901), Yang Peizhang was promoted to a bachelor's degree (a type of degree, usually a junior or lowest degree), a bachelor's degree in the Xuanbu Cabinet (the internal government affairs agency), and also a minister of the Ministry of Rites. . In the Guimao period of Guangxu (1903), Yang Peizhang was promoted from cabinet bachelor and minister of the Ministry of Rites (in charge of rites and music, sacrifices, feudalism, banquets, literary tributes and government orders) (deputy minister of various government ministries, with a status second to the minister) to right minister of the Ministry of War. The Ministry of Personnel (in charge of the appointment and dismissal of officials, examinations, promotions, transfers, etc.), the Right Minister, etc. Continuous promotions over the past few years have not changed his natural temperament. The ups and downs of his official career made him lose confidence in the decadent and declining feudal dynasty. Therefore, he often traveled to Beijing's famous mountains and rivers with like-minded friends, sometimes stimulating writing, sometimes drinking to soothe his sorrows, in order to vent the depression in his chest. However, Yang Peizhang never wanted to associate with treacherous people, nor did he want to participate in civil and military activities. However, he was willing to accompany the villagers when they visited him and rescued people in danger.
